PlotDetect builds property compliance tools for architects, developers, planners, and conveyancers in NSW.

The problem

Development Control Plans run to hundreds of pages. Finding the provisions that apply to a specific property means cross-referencing zone maps, heritage registers, and precinct boundaries. Then searching PDFs for keywords that may or may not match council terminology.

Property professionals spend hours on compliance research that could take minutes with the right tools.

What we built

PlotDetect indexes DCP provisions and links each one to its source PDF page. Enter an address, and see only the provisions that apply based on zone, heritage status, and precinct. Click any provision to view the original document.

We started with Inner West Council (48,000 provisions across multiple DCPs). More councils are being added based on demand.
